Matseleng:
Matseleng Mogodi is the CEO and founder of Snooks Estates and a respected leader in South Africa’s property sector, with nearly 30 years’ experience spanning education, property development, real estate operations, and industry governance. Raised in Soweto, she began her career as a Maths and Science teacher before transitioning into property. She holds qualifications in education and business administration from Wits Business School and is currently completing a Master’s in Business Leadership.
She founded Snooks Estates in 1997, growing it into a multi-branch operation serving Soweto and Johannesburg South, known for strong governance and service delivery. Matseleng has played a key role in industry leadership and transformation, including founding the Black Estate Agents Forum of South Africa (BEAFSA), serving on MLS and ERL boards, contributing to the Property Charter Council, and training young professionals through Dream Tree Properties.
Naomi:
As Marketing Director of Snooks Estates, Naomi is responsible for developing and guiding the company’s marketing strategy in line with its business and growth objectives. She analyses the property market, identifies target clients, and positions the Snooks Estates brand effectively to ensure clear, consistent communication and strong market presence.
She also oversees the implementation of the strategy by managing campaigns, marketing channels, budgets, and service providers. Working closely with the sales and rentals teams, Naomi ensures marketing activities generate quality leads, support transactions, and strengthen the company’s reputation and client relationships.
Jodie:
As Operations Administrator at Snooks Estates, Jodie coordinates the company’s daily operational and administrative processes to ensure property management and sales activities run efficiently. She prepares leases and contracts, maintains records and compliance documents, schedules inspections, and keeps client and property files accurate and up to date.
She also liaises with landlords, tenants, agents, and service providers, tracks maintenance requests, follows up on outstanding matters, and supports reporting and onboarding of new properties. Her role ensures organised operations, effective communication, and consistent service delivery within Snooks Estates.
Dineo:
Dineo is the Independent Agent Liaison at Snooks Estates, serving as the link between the company and independent agents operating their own real estate practices under the Snooks Estates brand. She ensures agents comply with company policies, brand standards, and regulatory requirements while allowing them operational independence.
She oversees performance, reviews reporting and compliance, and provides guidance, resources, and support. Dineo also assists with onboarding, communicates company updates and training, and helps resolve operational challenges, ensuring consistent service quality and protection of the Snooks Estates brand.
Amen:
Amen is the Accountant at Snooks Estates, responsible for managing financial records, reporting, and compliance. His attention to detail and disciplined approach support the company’s financial stability and growth.
Dimakatso:
Dimakatso serves as a Human Resources Consultant to Snooks Estates, providing HR support on a needs basis following her previous role as full-time HR Manager. She advises management on recruitment, employee relations, policies, performance management, and labour compliance, and assists with disciplinary processes and organisational development when required.
